PHILOSOPHY AND OBJECTIVE OF THE COLLEGE Philosophy: The College is inclined toward the philosophic postulations that there is a strong tie between education and society as well as between education and culture. Education has remained the historic instrument per excellence for maintaining, sustaining and perpetuating the society through the identification and satisfaction of its needs. The raisons detoir for education should, therefore be relevance, desirability, utility, peace of mind and above all harmony between activities of man and the stipulated purpose of creation.” Objectives: The specific objectives of the College are as follows; · To supply the much needed manpower in the field of Arabic, Islamic Studies and Shariah and Common Law. · To preserve and promote the quality, standard and status of Arabic Language which, is in addition to its importance to the Muslims. · To prepare students to acquire the pre-requisite qualifications for admission to Universities in Nigeria and Abroad to degree. · To produce highly competent Legal men and women for the ever expanding judicial institutions in the state. To provide needed manpower to teach Arabic, Islamic Studies and major Nigeria Language at both Primary and Post-Primary Levels of Education.
