The Establishment of the College The approval given by the Government of Kwara State following the 1991 committee recommendation lead to the former establishment of this institution in September 1992 with the Enabling Law No.5 1993. by the 6th October, 1992, 3 principal officer commissioned to start the college,
namely, the Provost, Dr. now (Professor) Musa Aliu Ajetunmobi, the registrar Alhaji Manzuma, the bursar, K.O Lawal it should be pointed out in the premises of the Shariah court served as the temporary administrative office when the institution took off and the last for the first three month from October to December 1992. By December 1992, the college moves to his permanent site on the Premises of College of Arabic Islamic Studies (CAILS). Similarly, the three pioneer officers were given the mandate to study and implement the previous recommendation and start the college. They employ competent and qualify lecturers. Be that as it may, the first pioneer members of the staffs were second from school under the control of the state. Ministry of Education and teaching service commission respectively. Also, some of the non Academic staff members too were posted on the secondment. By 1994, the college was affiliated to Bayero university of Kano. |
